Summary: Overall we liked Blue Water, but our stay began with a rough start. The cabin we were assigned was musty, and we found mold on bedroom A/C unit. The staff moved us to a different unit, which was nicer and larger, and reasonably comfortable. The main problem was the wifi barely worked, so we had to hot spot off our iPhones. Those things aside, we liked the beach access. It's not a huge beach, but enough for a decent walk. We loved the deck chairs looking over the beach, a great place to hang out and read a book. The poolside bar had a short menu, and they were out of half the items, LOL, but we survived. If nothing else, the Blue Water location is excellent -- close to the Hyannis ferries and not far from all the Cape Cod towns you'd want to visit. There is also a wonderful seafood joint about half a mile down the beach road (Skipper's?). Amazing food and great service -- we ate there three evenings. Bottom line: we *might* stay at Blue Water again if we're back to Cape Cod, but visitors should expect the place to be rustic, not high end.

Summary: We loved our stay at the Blue Water Resort and will definitely return someday hopefully. Coming the week after Labor Day was the right call and it was quiet on property and the surrounding areas. We were in room 411 which was awesome with a full kitchen and view right to the beach. The only issue we had was being able to hear the people in the room above us walking back-and-forth constantly. It seems like there isn’t much buffer between the floors so next time we will definitely request a top floor.

Summary: We were told breakfast began at 6:30. When we got there we were told they were not accepting individual orders until 8:30, that the restaurant was dedicated to large tour groups. We decided to go out to a restaurant instead. Also, we got a wake up call at 5:30 am that we did not request.
